A reception featuring hot hors d’oeuvres will begin at 3:45 pm. We will hear from educators, community members, and parents who are working to eradicate the school to prison pipeline and we will discuss what measures we (our community, our schools, the legal system, our university curricula, and our economic system) can take to address this egregious situation that results in the incarceration of millions of people of color. Judith Browne Dianis, co-founder of the Advancement Project will serve as the moderator.
