Attend a Board Meeting

OCPJ meets every month to review our work, discuss important issues facing our community, and plan for local action. All members and non-members are welcome to attend these meetings. You can meet the Board, find out more about our organization, and provide any comments or suggestions about our work. We meet virtually, the first Saturday of the month, from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

Participate

OCPJ organizes speakers, public education forums, demonstrations, and other community events in response to important issues and our commitment to supporting peace and justice.  All these gatherings are open to the public and we welcome your participation.  Feel free to contact us at the Peace and Justice Resource Center if you have questions or are looking for more information or community action on a peace and justice issue.

Volunteer at the Peace and Justice Resource Center

Oxford Citizens for Peace & Justice has a Peace and Justice  Resource Center at 16 S. Campus AV in an office space leased from The Interfaith Center. We seek volunteers to help in updating and maintaining the Center’s Lending Library (audio-visuals, books, journals, periodicals, resource files); creating new educational materials; promoting outreach to the membership, campus, and community; contacting our legislators and the media about important issues… and more.

Come to our annual Bread Not Bombs Dinner

Every year in either November or December we hold a dinner to celebrate, build community, and further the work of Oxford Citizens for Peace and Justice.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for Students and those on Limited Income; Children 12 and under are FREE.

All are welcome.  Call 523-6555 or email us for more information.
